"We Were Green Before Being Green Was Cool"

Our Greenwaste Department began recycling greenwaste products in 1997. When we started out 11 years ago we were using a small horizontal grinder and recycling approximately 30,000 cubic yards per year. Today we are recycling approximately 400,000 cubic yards annually. Our facility is now located at 4560 South Berkley Lake Road in Norcross and we are using a Peterson Pacific 2400 and 6700, a Morbark 950 and a CEC screening plant.

In the 11 years that we have been serving the Metro Atlanta and North Georgia areas we have recycled enough greenwaste product to fill the Georgia Dome approximately 5 times. All of our greenwaste debris is recycled and turned into useable products… wood fuel used by power plants, decorative wood mulches and quality planting compost mixes.

Greenwaste Recycling Division

The Greenwaste Recycling division collects unwanted plant, pruning and leaf material from landscape and tree companies, which would normally be destined for landfill sites and processes it to produce a usable end product.

This unique division is managed by Matt Martin who has been with the company for over 12 years. With a fleet of 4 forty-five yard grapple trucks, nine road tractors with 15 trailers and a host of heavy support equipment this division is capable of handling any grinding, recycling or clearing project that you may have.

The debris produced by other companies can either be collected from a designated site and brought back to our facility for processing or we can transport our horizontal grinder to the customers site and process the material there. The product is then screened, separated for size and either used in the production of energy or in the production of mulch and rich organic compost.

As custodians of the environment we encourage companies and individuals to recycle all of their greenwaste material.
